Vancouver, WA: C-TRAN, in partnership with Waste Connections, is sponsoring a free document shredding event Saturday, May 4, at Fisher’s Landing Transit Center. The event lasts from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., during which time anyone is invited to bring up to two boxes or bags of documents to be safely shredded and recycled. Waste Connections and C-TRAN will be present in the north parking lot at the transit center, located at 3510 S.E. 164th Ave. in Vancouver.

C-TRAN will also be accepting donations on behalf of Share Vancouver, an organization that provides support to the homeless and other people in need in the community. Donated items such as clothing and non-perishable food, or cash, will be accepted.

The event is being organized by the C-TRAN Green Team, an employee-led initiative that strives to make C-TRAN a cleaner, greener agency while serving our community.
