C-TRAN is currently in the process of constructing a new BRT line along the Fourth Plain Boulevard corridor in Vancouver, Washington. This Project, branded The Vine
(http://www.thevine.c-tran.com/), will consist of 33 new BRT platforms and the new Vancouver Mall Transit Center (VMTC).
As part of this Project, C-TRAN will be implementing Passenger Information Displays (PIDs) at the BRT platforms and transit center to support the provision of next bus arrival/departure information and service alerts to passengers. Each platform shall be provisioned with one (1) two-line PID, with major platforms being provisioned with twosided signs and minor platforms being provisioned with one-sided signs. VMTC shall be provisioned with two (2) eight-line one-sided PIDs.
