You Are Here Logo

It’s said that everybody has a story. We want to hear yours.

C-TRAN is launching a new campaign to highlight some of the many people who use transit in this community. We’re calling it You Are Here. We want to capture the faces and personalities on the bus in a way that lets them tell their own stories. That means portraits of people in their element, and a chance to say what drives you. We’re building a public collection of photos and quotes we hope will inspire and offer a collective snapshot of what makes us human. What makes us Clark County.

Let’s make one thing clear: This isn’t about us. It’s about you. Transit brings people together every day, but it doesn’t define who they are. Our goal is to create a unique cross-section of people as varied as the place we call home.

C-TRAN is working with local photographer Jake Thompson on this project. Interested in participating? Contact Jake directly at (360) 567-9801.

Vine Tunes

Vine Tunes Logo2Catch live music on The Vine every Friday in August!

C-TRAN is launching Vine Tunes, a live music series that’s different than any other local concert you’ll see this summer. Musicians will perform on board the bus as it serves the Fourth Plain corridor between the Vancouver Mall and downtown Vancouver. Vine Tunes happens August 4, 11, 18 and 25, starting with the bus that departs the Vancouver Mall Transit Center at approximately 5 p.m. each Friday. Another will follow about 10 minutes later. The concert-on-wheels lasts for approximately an hour, until each bus returns to the mall again.

You can catch Vine Tunes by hopping on board at any Vine station, but note that not every bus in service will have musicians on board. Passengers are still required to have valid fare before boarding the bus. Buses will continue to serve every stop along the corridor.

C-TRAN is proud to partner with several local musicians to make this event possible. Catch The Vine!
