FREE Rides on C-TRAN June 15!
C-TRAN is celebrating National Dump the Pump Day on Thursday, June 15, with free rides for everyone on the entire system. Plus, early morning riders can find C-TRAN staff at both the 99th Street and Fisher’s Landing transit centers offering free coffee drinks from Pacific Perks coffee carts.
This is the second year that the C-TRAN Board of Directors approved free rides as a risk-free way for non-riders to try transit, and for C-TRAN staff to say “thank you” to those who already choose to ride and make a difference every day.

Holiday Service—Tuesday, July 4
In honor of Independence Day, C-TRAN will offer the following service levels on Tuesday, July 4:
- Buses operate on Sunday/Holiday schedules (If your bus does not normally operate on Sundays, it will not provide service on this day.)
- Call Center open; 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
- Administration Office closed
- Customer Service offices closed

Hop to it With Fastpass!
Beginning soon, Hop Fastpass™ will be your ticket to ride C-TRAN, TriMet and Portland Streetcar. Hop is a new transit fare card that will make it faster and easier to ride the bus or train – simply tap on every time you board! Put money on your card anytime, anywhere (or set auto-load to do it for you) and earn passes as you ride.
Tap and Go
Simply touch your card to the reader every time you board or transfer, and you’re on your way! There will be readers at every Vine/MAX/WES station and onboard every bus and streetcar.
Save as You Ride
Now everyone can get the savings of daily and monthly passes, but without the commitment or the up-front cost. With Hop, you’ll pay your way to a pass, one trip at a time and you’ll never pay for a trip you don’t take.
Reload Almost Anywhere
Load money on your card anywhere, anytime using the Hop website, app or phone hotline. You can also add funds at any of the supermarkets, pharmacies or convenience stores in our growing retail network of more than 500 locations.
Easy Account Management
You can quickly register your card and set up a funding source using our mobile-friendly website or app, or choose to call our customer service and we’ll work to get you all set up.
You can manage multiple cards at-a-glance for your family or a group, see your history of recent trips and transactions, and deactivate/reactivate a lost or stolen card. And, don’t forget to set up auto-load so you’re never stuck without a fare!

FREE Shuttles and Show for this Year’s Fourth of July

C-TRAN is providing free shuttle service to this year’s Independence Day at Fort Vancouver presented by Bank of America on Tuesday, July 4. C-TRAN shuttles will provide service from the Vancouver Mall to the Independence Day celebration at Fort Vancouver, at least every 15 minutes from 6–8:30 pm. Passengers are returned to the mall immediately following the fireworks event.
FREE Gate Admission
For the first time in many years, admission to the fireworks display is absolutely free! A $5 donation is suggested as a way to ensure the fireworks continue for years to come.
