May 11 Service Change

Starting Sunday, May 11, 2014, C-TRAN will implement the following service changes:

Route 7 Battle Ground will move from Eaton Boulevard to serve the new Walmart located along Scotton Way in Battle Ground; this change will not impact the schedule.

Route 19 Salmon Creek will decrease frequency to every 45 minutes due to increased travel times along Highway 99. This change will improve schedule reliability and help ensure better connections between other routes at the 99th Street Transit Center.

Route 92 Camas-Washougal:

• Routing in Camas will no longer circle around the block at Burgerville. This change improves efficiency and safety by reducing the number of turns required in the area. Affected stops are currently posted with additional information and a map of new stop locations.
• Route will change east of 32nd Avenue in Washougal to increase safety and decrease delays at railroad crossings.
• Bus will travel east on Evergreen to SR 14, then west on SR 14 and Addy to 32nd Avenue. There will be no service stops made along Evergreen. All stops will continue to be made on Addy Street.

Proposed Fare Increase Approved by C-TRAN Board of Directors

UPDATE: at the May 13 public hearing, the C-TRAN Board of Directors voted to approve the following proposal.

In April, C-TRAN staff held three open houses regarding a proposed September 1 fare increase. Information was also made available through C-TRAN’s Website, social media, and onboard buses.

(The hearing will begin shortly after the meeting starts at 5:30 p.m.)

Anyone who was unable to attend an open house or provide written comments by the 12:00 p.m. deadline on May 13 is welcome to provide verbal comments at this public hearing. Comments are limited to three (3) minutes per person.
