THE FIRST FORTY YEARS: C-TRAN’S 2021 ANNUAL REPORT

THE FIRST 40 YEARS:
C-TRAN’S 2021
ANNUAL REPORT

On July 6, 1981, C-TRAN’s small fleet of buses rolled out for the transit agency’s first day of full service. In 2021, we celebrated 40 years of serving the citizens of Clark County. To commemorate the milestone, C-TRAN held a series of events, giveaways and activities to say thank you to our riders and the community. C-TRAN also partnered with the Clark County Historical Museum to create a new exhibit exploring the history of transportation in Clark County, including C-TRAN’s first 40 years, and its impact on the region. The exhibit was displayed publicly at the Vancouver Community Library for much of 2021.

Since its early days in the 1980s, C-TRAN has grown into an award-winning public transportation system. Millions of rides later, we’re still evolving. Here’s to the next 40 years!
