On Sunday, December 31, two of C-TRAN’s latest-running routes will offer free service for New Year’s Eve. All rides will be free on The Vine and Route 60 starting at 6 p.m. and continuing through the end of service.

If you’re out celebrating New Year’s Eve, be safe, plan ahead and take a ride on us instead of getting behind the wheel. Impaired driving causes thousands of deaths each year in the United States, and many such crashes occur during the holidays – including New Year’s Eve. Transit is a safe, smart alternative to driving. Consider making C-TRAN a part of your New Year’s celebration, even if you’re not staying out until midnight.

The Vine runs between the Vancouver Mall Transit Center and downtown Vancouver primarily along the city’s Fourth Plain corridor. On the night of December 31/January 1, the last eastbound Vine bus will leave Turtle Place station (Seventh Street and Washington Street) at 12:25 a.m., arriving at the mall at 12:51 a.m.

Route 60 travels between downtown Vancouver and Delta Park in North Portland, also serving Jantzen Beach. On the night of December 31/January 1, the last southbound Route 60 bus will leave from 12th Street and Broadway at 11:55 p.m., arriving in Delta Park at 12:06 a.m. A return trip will arrive in downtown Vancouver at 12:21 a.m.

Regular Sunday/Holiday schedules will apply, and fares will be required on all other C-TRAN routes. For questions or trip planning assistance, please call C-TRAN at 360-695-0123.
