Vancouver, WA: Effective Monday, March 30, C-TRAN will make temporary service reductions to Express routes serving downtown Portland.

Affected routes include Routes 105, 134, 157, 164, 177 and 199. The number of daily trips and buses on each route will be reduced, as will the frequency during the morning and afternoon commute times. Route 177 will be temporarily suspended.

Route 190, which serves OHSU Hospital and other medical facilities on Marquam Hill, will not be impacted.

The full modified Express schedules are available at here.

The temporary changes come as C-TRAN and other transit agencies are experiencing shifts in ridership which are expected to continue with mandatory stay-at-home orders now in place in Washington and Oregon. Many commuters are now working from home under the state orders.

C-TRAN continues to operate for people making essential trips, including those who are traveling to work providing essential services. Other Local and Regional routes are running on regular schedules at this time.

The health and safety of passengers and employees remains C-TRAN’s top priority. Most passengers are required to board through the rear door and to maintain appropriate distance among each other and operator. The front door and priority seating area remains available for wheelchair users and those with limited mobility.

C-TRAN remains committed to providing a critical service for people to access critical needs. It is the agency’s intention to return to full service as soon as it’s appropriate and safe to do so. Thank you to everyone doing your part to help our community stay healthy and safe.
