Vancouver, WA: C-TRAN has hired Inessa Vitko to serve as its next Chief Operations Officer. Inessa officially joins the C-TRAN team on May 10, 2018. As Chief Operations Officer, she will lead the agency’s largest department, which includes all of our fixed-route and paratransit operators.

Inessa comes to C-TRAN after 12 years at TriMet in Portland, where she served in multiple roles including work in budgeting and grants, operations and customer communications. She recently led TriMet’s first-ever Customer Experience Department, and played a key part in implementing the customer-facing components of Hop Fastpass, the regional electronic fare system that launched in 2017.

Inessa holds a Master’s of Public Administration and a Bachelor’s of Science in Mathematics and Statistics, both from Portland State University. She is an Oregon native and the proud daughter of (retired) long-haul truck drivers.

Inessa brings a wealth of experience, a passion for transit and community, and a proven track record of success. All of those traits will be valuable in meeting the goals of C-TRAN and the Operations department as we serve the community.
