How To Read a C-TRAN Bus Schedule
Schedules for each C-TRAN route can be viewed or downloaded by clicking on the individual route number. Printed schedules are also available at any of our Passenger Service Offices.
Route schedules include a map and timetable.
Timepoints on the map are numbers along the route that coincide with numbers above each column on the timetable. You can determine when a bus is expected at a specific point on the map by looking at the column with the same number above it on the timetable.
- Choose the schedule for the route that is closest to where you want to start your trip.
- Find the timepoint on the route map that is closest to where you want to start your trip.
- Find the column with the same timepoint above it. The times listed in that column show when the bus will pass by that point on the map.
- If your bus stop is between timepoints, use the earlier timepoint to catch your bus.
- If you need to take more than one route to complete your trip, locate the nearest transfer point or transit center on the System Map.
- We will do our best to be on time. Variations in weather and traffic conditions make it difficult to always operate on schedule.
- Periodic schedule adjustments up to 3 minutes may be necessary between schedule printings. Route schedules on this web site should reflect current schedules accurately.

If you need help planning your trip, use our on-line trip planner or call Passenger Service at (360) 695-0123. When you’ve determined what bus to catch and the time it is expected to arrive, follow these simple steps:
- Wait at a C-TRAN bus stop or shelter. C-TRAN has more than 2,000 bus stops clearly marked with the route number of each bus serving that stop.
- Be sure you are visible to the driver. Stand close to the sign or shelter and watch for the approaching bus.
- Have your cash fare or pass ready. Exact fare please - drivers carry no change.
- Allow other passengers to get off the bus before you board.
- Place your cash fare or ticket into the fare box or show the driver your pass.
- About one block before your stop, signal the driver by pressing the yellow or black bell strip on the wall near the bus window.
