C-TRAN Benefits
C-TRAN offers a comprehensive package of benefits to retain quality employees. Some of these benefits may not be applicable to all positions. They may include:
- Medical, Dental, Vision, and Prescription coverage
Employees and eligible family members may choose from the Kaiser Permanente or Providence Health Plan medical plans. Vision and prescription coverages are included in C-TRAN’s medical plans. Dental options include Kaiser Permanente and two options through Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Oregon. Some plans may require an employee cost share.
- Paid Leave
Eligible employees may be entitled to paid leave for vacation, sick, holidays, floating holidays, bereavement, jury duty, and military leave.
- Washington State Public Employees Retirement Plan
All employees are required to participate in the Washington State Public Employees’ Retirement Plan (PERS).
- Deferred Compensation Plan (457 plan)
Employees may elect to defer up to $12,000 pre-tax dollars.
- Life Insurance and Long-Term Disability Insurance
C-TRAN provides life insurance and long-term disability insurance for eligible full-time employees at no cost. Disability insurance provides partial income protection in the event of a non-job related disability or illness that renders the employee unable to work beyond a 180-day waiting period.
- Employee Assistance Program
Confidential counseling services are provided for all C-TRAN employees and their dependents through Employee Assistance Services Enterprise (EASE).
- Educational Assistance
Eligible employees may receive educational assistance for courses of study which C-TRAN determines are directly related to the employee’s present job or which would be required for advancement to a position within the agency which the individual has a reasonable expectation of achieving.
- Employee Fitness Program
C-TRAN pays a portion of the single member monthly health club membership dues for eligible employees.
- Free Bus Pass
Employees and eligible dependents will receive a bus pass that provides for free transportation on C-TRAN, TriMet and Max.
C-TRAN’s non-management, hourly positions are covered by IAMAW or ATU labor union agreements.
