7th Street Passenger Service Office Closing
C-TRAN’s 7th Street Passenger Service Office in downtown Vancouver will permanently close at the end of business on Wednesday, December 31, 2008. Open houses are listed on the back side of this rider alert to provide customers with additional information and to solicit feedback on how C-TRAN can help transition customers to other pass purchasing options.
In June, C-TRAN conducted a survey. Of those that responded, 60 percent said they use the office only to purchase tickets and passes. The other 40 percent said they use the Passenger Service Office only for schedules and trip planning.
C-TRAN is currently looking to expand its pass sales to include a major retailer in the downtown Vancouver area. Other pass sales outlets currently include:
• All Clark County Fred Meyer locations (full-fare instruments only);
• Van Mall and Fisher’s Landing Transit Center locations; and
• Pass-by-Mail, which provides passes and tickets directly to your door.

C-TRAN’s new Web site now has its new regional trip planner, allowing personalized trip planning 24/7 from the comfort of your home or office. Plan a trip from anywhere within C-TRAN’s service area to anywhere within TriMet’s.
