Express Route Fare Alert
TriMet’s Employer Annual Pass is not valid on C-TRAN Express routes (#105, #134, #157, #177, #164, #190, and #199) providing nonstop service between Clark County and downtown Portland, Marquam Hill, and the Lloyd District.
This TriMet fare instrument is a discounted pass program negotiated between TriMet and participating Portland area employers. C-TRAN receives no revenue for honoring the Employer Annual Pass when presented on a C-TRAN Express route.
TriMet Employer Annual Passes are acceptable on all other C-TRAN routes and are considered an “All-Zone Pass.”
Effective October 1, C-TRAN supervisors and Security staff will begin reviewing fare instruments to ensure all passengers are paying the appropriate fare.
C-TRAN offers employers a discounted Annual Express Pass for Clark County employees commuting to Oregon. The annual pass offers 12 months of express, nonstop service to Portland for the price of 11 months and allows for travel on any C-TRAN bus, including Express buses to downtown Portland and Connector, TriMet MAX and bus, and the Portland Streetcar. Anytime service is available—no restrictions.
