Clark County continues to be plagued by the theft of materials that can be turned into quick cash by thieves, to include the theft of catalytic converters from cars parked at parking lots throughout the community. Recently, we have noticed an increase in the number of catalytic converters removed/stolen from cars and trucks parked at C‑TRAN.
C-TRAN is working collaboratively with local law enforcement agencies to address this problem. To assist in this effort, we are asking that if you observe someone at a transit center “working” on a vehicle, please notify 911 immediately and report this suspicious activity.
You can also do your part in deterring criminal activity by becoming aware of your surroundings, reporting suspicious activity to 911, locking your car doors, not leaving valuables, considering the use of an anti-theft device such as "The Club," and activating your alarm system, if available.
Thank you for choosing C-TRAN. Please know that we will continue to do everything we can to make all our facilities as safe and secure as possible. If you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to contact C‑TRAN Passenger Service at 360-695-0123.
