Service Improvements: February 24, 2008

May 2008 Service Change

Based on route performance information including customer and employee feedback, the following minor service adjustments will take effect on May 18th. Printed schedules will be available beginning May 12th at any Passenger Service Office. For more information call (360) 695- 0123.

#2 Lincoln Weekday schedules will have midpoint time adjustments to enhance schedule reliability. Saturday and Sunday schedules will not change. A routing change will bring the bus into the 99th Street Transit Center at Stockford Village from the south, using Hazel Dell Ave. and 94th Street. In Vancouver, the route will no longer serve stops at Columbia and 16th and Columbia and 17th due to a routing change—from Columbia to McLoughlin to Broadway. Two new stops will be placed at Broadway and 16th and Broadway and 15th.

#3 City Center Weekday schedules on both loops will have midpoint time adjustments to enhance schedule reliability. Saturday and Sunday schedules will not change on either loop. Minor route changes downtown include:

A Loop: Broadway to Evergreen to Washington, route will no longer loop around 8th and Broadway;
B Loop: from Evergreen and Broadway to 8th Street using Columbia rather than Washington. In addition, B Loop service stops at Washington and 13th and Washington and 11th will no longer be served but will be replaced by service to the stop at Washington and Evergreen.

#4 Fourth Plain Eastbound weekday and Saturday schedules will have midpoint time adjustments to enhance schedule reliability. A midday trip will be added on Saturday. There will be no change on Sunday.

#7 Battle Ground Weekday, Saturday and Sunday schedules will have midroute time point adjustments to enhance schedule reliability. Routing in Battle Ground will be changed to serve the new Community Center.

#25 Fruit Valley & St. Johns Saturday and Sunday schedules will have midroute time point adjustments to enhance schedule reliability. There will be no changes to the weekday schedule.

#30 Burton Weekday, Saturday and Sunday schedules will have midroute time point adjustments to enhance schedule reliability.

#32 Evergreen/Andresen & Hazel Dell Saturday schedule frequency will change to 35 minutes. Weekday and Sunday schedules will not change.

#37 Mill Plain & Highway 99 Weekday schedules will have midroute time point adjustments to enhance schedule reliability.

#44 Fourth Plain The last evening departure from Evergreen and Broadway will leave two minutes earlier (6:43 PM) and the trip will end at Vancouver Mall at 7:02 PM rather than continuing on to Orchards and Sifton.

#72 Orchards The 7:00 PM departure from Vancouver Mall has been changed to 7:05 PM to accommodate #44 Fourth Plain Limited riders who may need to continue on to Orchards and Sifton. Saturday and Sunday schedules will not change.

#157 Lloyd District Express Midroute time point adjustments will be made to enhance schedule reliability. The route will no longer travel north on Grand to Broadway when returning to I-5.
